How we're paid, in plain terms
This is one of the most common questions people are too polite to ask, so we put the answer on its own page.
You are not charged additional fees for working with a licensed insurance representative. When you enroll in a plan through us, your premium is the same as it would be if you enrolled directly with the insurance company or through Medicare's website.
Representatives are compensated through carrier compensation structures. In other words, the insurance companies pay us for the enrollment and service work, at rates that are regulated for Medicare products.
It's also worth knowing the other side of that coin: consumers generally do not receive discounts for declining representation. Going without an agent doesn't lower your premium. It mostly means doing the research, comparisons, and annual reviews on your own.
What we ask in return is simple: bring us your questions, let us do the comparison work properly, and make your decision with full understanding. That arrangement has kept families with us for years, and it's the only way we want to do business.

Ask them. Straight answers are kind of our thing.
